Regular meeting opened at 7:02

No Public comments.
 
Motion by Jelinek supported by LaLone to accept the minutes of March with spelling 
correction. Motion carried.

Treasurer's report stands as read.

Motion by Sittig supported by Osburn to pay Township bills totaling $29469.65
 Motion carried.

Correspondence was read.

Fire: 2   Only one bid was received from McCarty Construction.
Motion by Jelinek supported by LaLone to accept bid fom McCarty Construction for an 
estimated cost of $72184.50 to be applied for from the Township portion of Pokagan Funds

Parks & Recreation- Nothing to report. Township attorney has the Park Ordinance.

Planning: The final draft of the Zoning Ordinance was received and will be reviewed at 
the April 22 meeting. Township Attorney Scott Dienes explained the procedure for filing 
the ordinance.

Police: Complaints/Citations:  49/15

Industrial Park- Roger Zilke,Berrien County Drain Commissioner and Larry Protasiewicz 
of the Spicer Group were present to explain the changes to the Schwark Drain projedt.
Motion by Cummings and supported by  Sittig to authorize and direct the Township 
Supervisor to execute the drain easement concerning the industrial park as presented 
with such minor modifications as are approved by the Township Attorney for and on 
behalf of the Township.
The cost of the drain easements will be paid as a credit against the Township's 
assessment for the drain and will be determined jointly by the Township and Drain 
Commissioner.
If no agreement can be reached, the cost of the drain easements will be determined 
by appraisal. Roll call

Motion by Jelinek supported by Cummings to purchase a cemetery program from Pontom 
Software for $3108.00. Roll call

The Museum Committee is requesting the Township to sponsor anther grant for a building.
Motion by Jelinek supported by LaLone to approve signing of phase 2 for The Region of 
Three Oaks Museum. Motion carried.

The agreement for fund advancement with the Library was tabled.

Motion by Jelinek supported by Cummings to sign the lease agreement with Kaminski 
Farms. Motion carried.

Motion by Sittig supported by Jelinek to approve payment of the Township Matching 
Funds of $5000.00 to the Berrien County Road Commission for 2008. Roll call
Ayes: Jelinek, Sittig, Cummings, Osburn, LaLone
