In the absence of the Supervisor the attending board members appointed the Clerk to serve as 
moderator.
Meeting opened at 7:01

No public comment

Motion by Osburn supported by LaLone to approve June 9th meeting minutes and July 2nd special 
meeting minutes. Motion carried.

Treasurers report stands

Department reports:
Ambulance 20 calls	
Assessor sales/splits      2/1 still under review
Fire    4 calls
Chief Flick requested that new jambs be installed on the upstairs windows at a cost of no more 
than $1000.00 and to have a key pad installed on the west bay door at a cost of $500- $1000.00.
Motion by Cummings supported by Osburn to allow the repairs for no more than $1000.00. Roll call

McCarty Construction presented a quote for a new sign & installation for the Fire Station with a 
total cost of $3226.00.
Motion by LaLone supported by Osburn to accept McCarty's quote for the sign and installation.

George Mangold informed the board that the public hearing was held June 24 on the new 
Zoning Ordinance and they anticipate adoption by the board at it's September meeting.

Police report 79complaints/ 50 citations

Berrien County Road Commission presented a quote for replacing the culverts at Avery Rd 
south of Elm Valley for $4444.00 and Flynn Rd north of US12 for $2024.00. 
Motion by Cummings supported by LaLone to accept the quote for culvert replacements.

Motion by LaLone supported by Cummings to accept Dr. Stanley Bells proposal for architectural 
fees of #3804 for the Spring Creek School. Motion carried

equipment needed for use in running elections. Roll call
