Three Oaks Township Planning Commission Tuesday, May 22, 2007 The regular meeting of the Three Oaks Township Planning Commission was called to order at 7:00 pm by Chair Snyder. Roll Call was taken with members, Jackson, Khoury, Klute, Kramer, LaLone, Mangold, Mitchell, Seifert and Snyder present. No one was absent. Public Comment: (1) Status of the rewriting of the Zoning Ordinances, (awaiting rough draft from the Township Attorney) and (2) having the minutes of the Planning Commission available on the Township's web site, (a new cd will be burned by Secretary Mangold for placement on the web site) It was also suggested that once the new Zoning Ordinances are completed, that it also be posted on the Township web site. Secretary Mangold presented the minutes of the Tuesday, March 27, 2007 Public Hearing and regular meeting. A motion by Klute, supported by Kramer, to accept the March 27, 2007 Public Hearing minutes as presented. The motion was approved 8-0. A motion by Mitchell, supported by Seifert, to accept the March 27, 2007 regular meeting minutes as presented. The motion was approved 8-0. Under Communications, a Zoning Seminar will be conducted on Thursday, June 21, 2007 at the MSU Extension Service in Benton Township. Planning Commission members Jackson, Khoury, Klute, and Snyder expressed an interest in attending. Three Oaks Township will pay for the registration fee. Under Old Business, Chair Snyder reported that the rewriting of the Zoning Ordinances was still in "limbo" with the Township Attorney. It was also reported by Chair Snyder that no new information or request have been received in regards to the Three Oaks Hills/Maloney project. There was no New Business. The next regular meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, June 26, 2007. If no applications for permits or other requests concerning action by the Planning Commission are not received by Wednesday, June 20, 2007 that meeting will be cancelled. Secretary Mangold will inform the Planning Commission members and post a notice of cancellation for the public should that happen. Having no other business to come before the Planning Commission, a motion of adjournment by Seifert, supported by LaLone. The motion was approved 9-0.
