THREE OAKS TOWNSHIP SEEKING RESIDENTS FOR NEW ADVISORY COMMITTEE

Are you interested in helping shape the future of local government in our community? The Three Oaks Township Board is seeking civic-minded residents to serve on the newly established Policies and Procedures Advisory Committee.

What does the committee do?
This 5-member advisory body will meet once per month to review existing guidelines, identify governance gaps, and draft updated, modern policies to present to the Township Board for approval.

What are the requirements?

  • Must be a resident of Three Oaks Township.
  • Able to commit to one meeting per month.
  • Backgrounds in governance, management, human resources, or legal/policy work are helpful, but not required! All passionate community members are welcome to apply.

Compensation:
Committee members are compensated for their time at a rate of $50 per meeting for the Chair and Secretary, and $40 per meeting for general members.

Applications are available at the Three Oaks Township Hall (6810 US Hwy 12). Please submit your completed application to the Township Clerk’s office by July 6, 2026.
